I absolutely love Lake Powell. It is one of my favorite places on earth. This summer, we got in a good week at Powell before we left for Indiana. Here were some of our highlights....
Lots of Grandpa and Grandma time!
Beach time, the kids love the sand.
Uncle Chad had his first time back to Powell since his mission. Notice the ticket to ride game?? We are addicted. 
Clint got up on Slalom (sp??) for the first time. He was awesome!
Braden caught his first lizard, it stayed on the house boat for 3 days in a bucket. The release moment was tender, he loved his lizard dearly. 
We had two new cousins come. Michael and Little Vanessa were dearly loved by their cousins on their first Powell trip.
Braden drove the boat for the first time. He loved it, and was actually pretty decent for a 4 year old!
Lots of splashing in the water playing on the island. This is a wonderland for the kids at the lake. They are able to jump in the water off the island, just splash around in the netted part or lay in the sun on the dry section. Awesome toy for little ones.
Thank you Mom and Dad for a great vacation at Powell. We had a wonderful time and miss you already!!

ok, so I am dreaming of our trip to powell at the end of the summer. It will be so fun! Glad you had a blast.
clint--you look pretty buff in that skiing picture. also love the farmer tan! haha.
Looks like so much fun! We'll have to think about going in on a house boat some day and make a tradition out of it. It was good to hear from you the other day. Let me know if you need anything, I know your busy now with all the house stuff, but sometimes residency days get long, so always feel free to call and vent. Take care!
