We are animal lovers. We have always wanted a pet, but when you are renting it is not very easy. So, now that we are finally in a home of our own, we have decided to get our first pet. I am a dog lover and a cat liker, but cats are easier than dogs when you still have a two year old to potty train, so we decided to start out with a cat. Welcome Jasper!! He is our 12 week old kitten that we adopted from a family here in Indiana that is moving out west and cannot move all their pets with them. (Moving west, how ironic!)He is adorable, fun and very good with the kids. Braden and Natalie love him to death, and sometimes just a little too much. He hasn't scratched them yet and we are working with them to learn how to "properly" treat a pet. Should be fun! Welcome Jasper.

We think we are happy for you... : ) um... we aren't exactly cat likers even, but so fun for the kids and he is pretty cute for a feline. Have fun with him.
Our kids wish we would get a cat as well, but you know how Eric is allergic and I prefer dogs (even though ours is more of a rat). So, congrats on the new pet status. The kids will love having a new playmate.
How fun to have a pet!! We're definitely glad that Savvy has had one growing up so far. I'm sure the cat will get used to the kids before the kids will get used to being soft!!
So cute! I can't wait to meet him....So Jasper huh. Is he named after Jasper Cullen? Let's get together soon.
